A brief overview of the SDK's RmcpPing Package
|
|
|

Introduction:
|
|

|
The RmcpPing sample is used to send RMCP ping. The ping response contains data
|
|
about the platform version and capabilities of the Intel AMT platform.
|
|
This RmcpPing feature is also called 'Discovery'. More details can be found in
|
|
the AMT SDK documentation.
|
|
|
|
Note: To ensure that security is maintained, the application should be run from
|
|
a directory that can be accessed only by the Administrator user. This is
|
|
to prevent unauthorized manipulation of files in the directory.
|
|
|
|
How to Build:
|
|
-------------
|
|
In order to compile the sources:
|
|
1) Use Visual Studio* and the latest windows SDK toolkit.
|
|
2) Open solution from this path:
|
|
Src\RMCPPing.csproj
|
|
3) Invoke build from the Visual Studio menu.
|
|
|
|
